Cradle to Cradle Certified® is the global standard for products that are safe, circular and responsibly made. The Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute does an excellent job of ensuring that such products are stringently monitored. Why is Taurinox® different from any other fabric cover? It's because of what it's woven from and, although we keep the details a closely guarded secret, suffice to say it contains no PVC. PVC in membrane form ends up in landfill or be burnt because it cannot be recycled. It also release toxins during manufacturing which is considered carcinogenic, along with other harmful chemicals like dioxins.
