In a recent feature with Design Week, Director, Georgie Brereton explores how the Saudi beauty landscape is changing and how the country is creating brand and retail work for UK firms, who need to balance local and international influences. “In Saudi Arabia, shifting beauty standards and evolving social norms are reshaping the cultural landscape, influencing fashion, architecture, and design,” Explains Georgie Brereton. “There is a growing emphasis on individuality and now there is a higher expectation for design standards, this is driving new styles that merge heritage with modern minimalism. These changes reflect a broader societal transformation, where personal expression and inclusivity are gaining significance.” Follow the link below to read more: https://lnkd.in/eAua6qYu

Shake Shack Busan opens in Gijang outlet. The Shack is located in Jangan-eup, Gijanggun, with easy access via the Busan Ring Expressway and Donghae Expressway, the outlet attracts around 4.5 million visitors annually with its distinctive Tuscany-inspired architecture. The design evokes a tranquil, rustic atmosphere with sun-soaked, scenic elements that capture the essence of Tuscany. The Shack creates an ambiance reminiscent of sun-drenched hills, rolling vineyards, and rustic stone farmhouses, and invites guests to savor the essence of Tuscany. Last year we were awarded the exciting opportunity to reimagine Carluccio's for the Middle East. The restaurant in Marina Mall was the chosen site and here we share the final renders showcasing the fresh new look. The challenge was to activate every area of the space, from the mall facing lease line, all the way through to the external terrace, providing the guest with multiple seating options for different dining occasions. The new look blends timeless Mediterranean charm with a fresh, modern ambiance inspired by the vibrant landscapes of Southern Italy- Featuring a refined combination of deep blues and warm yellows offset with natural tones or terracotta and fresh white, evoking the beauty of the Amalfi Coast and traditional Italian ceramics.

Shake Shack Sunway opens its doors as the second location in Malaysia! The Sunway Pyramid is inspired by Egyptian architecture, featuring a lion sculpture, and two distinctive domes—the Orange and Blue Atriums—symbolizing the Great Nile River. By integrating these elements, the concept delves into the profound connection between the Nile’s life-giving waters and the rich landscapes it nourishes, reflecting the harmony between nature and civilization. Drawing inspiration from the Nile River, the design incorporates flowing, curvilinear forms that mirror the river’s winding path and the rich, layered landscapes along its banks. These elements were applied to the ceiling throughout the space, capturing the fluidity and life-giving essence of the Nile, and celebrating its crucial role in shaping the land and nurturing life.
