Big news from Zedify HQ. We're hosting our very first careers event! Introducing 'Women delivering the future: discover a new career path' - an opportunity for women to come and learn more about forging a career in cargo bike logistics, and perhaps be inspired to apply for a job at the end of it ⚡ Just like the rest of the logistics world, our fantastic depot teams are lacking brilliant women. There are complex reasons for this, but we recognise that it's up to us to 'be the change we want to see' and challenge this wherever we can. More diverse teams are happier, more creative teams... and no one should feel as though a logistics job is off limits due to their gender. So, this year, we made it our task to track our data closely, speak to and learn from the women in Team Zedify, platform them and, with our learnings, have sought to empower more women to join the wonderful world of cargo bikes. We have jobs available in our London depots, and we'd love these to go to as diverse a range of people as possible! We hope you'll support us on our mission. Around a year ago, we spotted Loud's Director Caz Conneller's 'She's Electric' campaign on Linkedin, and were inspired by Caz's dedication to help break down barriers for women in cycling. We're super lucky to have Georgia Yexley, Loud's founder and experienced inclusive travel advocate, onboard with us now too. We're all about the right tool for the job. When it comes to last mile deliveries in busy urban areas, cargo bikes are the quickest and most efficient way to deliver every time. But which bike is best? That depends on what's being delivered 📦 For quickly shipping out fresh flowers in flatpacked boxes, like those from our client Freddie's Flowers, the Urban Arrow will do a fantastic job 💐 For something like a big HelloFresh box ready to go to a customer's doorstep, the GTrike will handle plenty more of them... The Zedify team is growing again 🚲 🚀 We'd like to extend a huge welcome to Dorian Hasanaj, the newest member of our Finance team. Dorian has six years of accounting and bookkeeping experience, and has honed his skills across a variety of industries - everything from charities to restaurants. Outside of work, he participates in ultramarathons, long-distance cycling, amateur boxing and is a trained actor with experience in both stage and film. Basically, we think we might’ve just hired the new Bond… Welcome, Dorian, we're so happy to have you onboard 👏
