With the Eisteddfod being held in our local area this year, we decided to align our latest school sponsorship initiative with its theme. The competition invited pupils to design a Royal Mint “Strike Your Own” coin sleeve, inspired by the Eisteddfod theme of Welsh Language and Culture. We then produced the winning design and distributed the coin sleeves to all pupils attending our sponsored trip to the Royal Mint Experience. Innovative Cooling and Enhanced Carbon Efficiency at Zenith As part of our drive to reduce carbon emissions we've installed two ambient air coolers. These systems efficiently cool the water used in our printing processes before it cycles through our chillers and back to the presses. The pre-cooling effect achieved by these units means that the water now enters the chillers at a significantly lower temperature, which translates to a dramatic reduction in electricity consumption. Consequently, the demand on our chilling units is greatly diminished, often to the point where there operation is barely necessary.
