Circularity should be the priority in every sector of our economy - and cutting edge business Renewable Parts demonstrates exactly that. Through innovation and a reuse first mindset, this Lochgilphead business has successfully 198 tonnes of material from landfill since 2018, the equivalent of 130 Olympic-sized swimming pools. We caught up with team to see their turbine refurbishment process for ourselves 🎥 Read the full case study: https://lnkd.in/eMH2mvQP

A charge on single-use disposable beverage cups would encourage the majority of people we asked in our survey to #ChooseToReuse - helping to reduce the number of cups we use down from an average of 71 cups per person, per year! Find out more about plans to introduce charges on cups on our website. https://lnkd.in/exPrTppQ

It’s been 10 years since Scotland introduced the carrier bag charge. The Net Zero Scotland consultation for the introduction of a mandatory charge on single-use disposable beverage cups is now open. It proposes a minimum charge of around 25p per single-use disposable beverage cup. Scotland’s single-use carrier bag charge introduced back in 2014 saw single-use carrier bag usage drop by 80% in the year after it was brought in, equivalent to at least 650 million fewer bags being handed out annually. We asked the public their thoughts on the impact of the single-use carrier bag charge. Visit our website to find out more on the proposed cup charge and have your say in the consultation: https://lnkd.in/eNU7yctT
