Excited to attend the Energy Transition Summit in Dublin this September! Don't miss Sara Brooks on the panel "Empowering the Customer: How Do We Make It Easy for Consumers to Make Sustainable Choices?" Joining her will be the brilliant Caoimhe McWeeney Paddy Finn and Vince Harney 🌱🌍
📢 We're thrilled to have Zoa joining us as a sponsor of the Energy Transition Summit 2024! "We were originally the team that built the technology that powered Bulb, helping it grow organically from 0 to 1.7M members in four countries in just 5 years. We also helped achieve the UK industry’s lowest cost to serve and raised our mobile-app rating to 4.8 stars simultaneously. In the aftermath of the energy crisis in 2021 and 2022, we decided to take that technology and make it available to energy suppliers everywhere, along with the talent that created it and make it even better. So in November 2022, we created Zoa to help energy companies become consumer companies. Our people are building consumer experiences that build trust and engagement now whilst unlocking the green energy transition. They drive what it means to live in a sustainable, electrified world, because we’re here to make a difference today, tomorrow, and into the future." 🌱 Join us on on the 26th of September 2024 at Croke Park, where industry stakeholders, innovators, policy makers and investors will meet to advance the transition towards a renewable energy ecosystem focusing on moving from clean energy vision to clean energy action. 🌱 🐣Super early bird discounts are available so book now for the best price! ➡️ https://loom.ly/PHSf6yY #EnergySummit24 #EnergyTransition

Zoa reposted this
I'm biased to say how fun is an event combining #energy and #AI , but speaking at Zoa's breakfast series was special. It's not everyday that customers' vulnerabilities are a key topic on the discussion. As Rory Cellan-Jones said - we need to guarantee that smart solutions are not just for "smart" people who already are in a privileged position to invest in them. A solution is only #smart if it benefits (rather than penalising) users across the energy system, including those who cannot access them directly. Thanks for the invite Zoa, and it was a pleasure sharing the stage with Crystal Hirschorn, Angela Bradbury and Daisy Cross.
⚡️ Last week Guilherme Castro, Senior Manager at Faculty, joined a fantastic panel hosted by Zoa to discuss the role AI has to play in the energy transition to electrification. In our latest blog post we highlight the key themes discussed including: 💡 AI’s Role in accelerating the adoption of renewables 💡 Addressing vulnerabilities and social equity 💡 Managing the environmental impact of AI Click here to read the article or watch the panel in full - https://lnkd.in/dsgBMFTR Thank you to Zoa for hosting such a great event! #ai #energytransition #electrification

What role does AI play in electrification? At our fifth Electrify Everything breakfast briefing, Zoa hosted a panel of experts from the energy and AI sectors, moderated by veteran BBC tech journalist Rory Cellan-Jones A few highlights from the briefing: 💡AI's role in achieving net zero: AI balances networks and makes intelligent decisions to help reach net zero targets. 💡A gradual integration before the norm: The shift to AI in energy is gradual, enhancing user experience and accelerating decarbonization. Eventually, AI will become a norm in our daily lives. 💡Engaging the public and protecting Consumers: AI solutions must be rolled out equitably to avoid disadvantaging vulnerable consumers, promoting inclusive energy transition. 💡Regulatory Frameworks and Public Trust: Developing data-sharing regulations and building public trust are crucial. A huge thank you to our panel for delivering a brilliant discussion, and to all our engaged guests for attending! Crystal Hirschorn Angela Bradbury Guilherme Castro Daisy Cross
