    This project was a major business change for the SIA involving technological and operational process changes to replace a high volume paper-based process with an electronic online paperless transaction system in line with UK Gov's Digital-by-Default agenda. The remit was to manage external suppliers and internal operational teams whilst setting up a new commercial service with the Post Office and establishing a secure web-service transaction-based interface between the SIA and Post office data centres to enable fast clean information exchange. This has enabled the SIA to provide a more reliable, streamlined service for new applicants. The project was delivered well within the timescales and budget allocated.
