Compliance Officer

The Compliance Officer is an all-round, hands-on crucial role, working closely with the Head of Compliance to ensure KOMI meets its regulatory obligations and maintains a strong compliance culture. This role involves monitoring, assessing, and managing compliance risks, as well as ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assure full compliance on all legacy content.
  • Conducting periodic monitoring tasks and report back to the stakeholders.
  • Run monthly audits on KOMI Group pages.
  • Assisting with risk assessments to identify and manage all compliance risks.
  • Keeping abreast of relevant laws, regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Maintaining internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring robust and effective compliance controls within the organisation.
  • Regularly reviewing content to assure compliance with social media platform guidelines.
  • Providing solutions-oriented advice to colleagues on compliance matters.
  • Liaising with external parties such as GDPR and Cyber Security providers.
  • Performing general administrative duties, including file creation and record maintenance.
  • Highlighting and escalating areas of concern regarding compliance.
  • Investigating irregularities and instances of non-compliance.
  • Assisting in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory requests.
  • Collaborating with other departments to foster a culture of compliance.

  • Experience working in a heavily regulated industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyse regulatory requirements and identify potential compliance risks.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Basic understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining integrity in compliance practices.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
