IT Support - Help Desk 1st and 2nd Line

£200 - 250 per day

Shepherds Bush, East London - 5 days per week onsite.

We are looking for a contractor to join what could be a long term engagement but starts as a 3 month rolling hire. There is an opportunity to convert to a permanent down the line if you prefer.

There is an opportunity to learn Linux and Unix skills while you are with us.

Responsibilities:

• 1st and 2nd line support
• Building new PC/Laptops for new starters, updating permissions for internal movers and looking after leavers
• Working closely with users to problem solve and fix issues
• Trouble shooting Software and Hardware
• Supporting 300-500 users both onsite and remote

MUST HAVE

• Understanding of GIT and YAML (working experience would be highly advantageous)
• LINUX experience building and supporting users - we are around 20-40% Linux based
• MDM – InTune experience – this will be necessary for building and configuring hardware
• Knowledge of network concepts such as VLANs VPNs, DHCP etc.

You'll be:

• Willing to work 5 days a week on-site in Shephard Bush near White City
• A faster learner
• Someone who can hit the ground running
• Excellent personal communication skills
• Open to being on call 1 week per month (paid regardless of being called)
