Andesite Partners is delighted to have been engaged by a global and leading private equity firm focused on infrastructure investments. Our client recently set up a London office and is now looking to add investment associates to their growing team. Our client has a clear mission to create long-term value by investing in and managing essential infrastructure assets, including transport, energy, water, and digital infrastructure.


Role Overview:

With an excess of $25bn of AuM, we are seeking dedicated and dynamic Infrastructure Private Equity Associate(s) to join their team in London. In this role, you will be integral to the assessment, execution, and management of infrastructure investments and be involved throughout the entire lifecycle of a deal. You will collaborate closely with senior team members and portfolio companies, contributing to all phases of the investment lifecycle, from initial due diligence through to asset management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities.
  • Develop financial models to assess the viability and potential returns of infrastructure investments.
  • Prepare detailed investment memoranda and presentations for internal review and Investment Committee approval.
  • Perform detailed due diligence, including financial, legal, technical, and commercial aspects of potential investments.
  • Support the negotiation and structuring of investment transactions, including drafting term sheets and coordinating legal documentation.
  • Assist in the management of external advisors, including legal, financial, and technical consultants.
  • Participate in investment committee meetings and provide recommendations based on thorough analysis.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of portfolio companies, identifying key value drivers and potential risks.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of value enhancement strategies for portfolio assets.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry participants, including advisors, partners, and potential co-investors.
  • Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging investment opportunities in the infrastructure sector.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking infrastructure or private equity Real Asset deal experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret complex financial models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise investment reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
