A leading manufacturer are seeking the right individual to join their growing technology team as an IT Support Specialist and Project Controller. This is an exciting opportunity as it will be a crucial role within the business supporting their on-premises and virtual systems. The successful candidate will need to carry out 2nd-line and 3rd-line support for users, whilst also ensuring that employees have continual access to all technology systems as well as deploying and controlling technology-based projects to improve business systems.

Ideal candidate background
Able to carry out 2nd line support to users
Experience carrying out 3rd line support for users
Able to run and support the delivery of technology-based projects
Strong knowledge of Office 365/Microsoft 365 applications
Active Directory & GPO management and administration
Networking - TCP/IP and Wi-Fi
Server virtualisation
Laptop/desktop deployments and configuration
IT Support Specialist
Key responsibilities include:
Providing support to users with hardware and software related issues
Maintenance and upgrade of systems
Controlling and delivering IT related projects
Supporting with IT support escalations
Carrying out database administration
Patching networking cables
Carrying out desktop builds
Supporting the IT Manager with any reasonable requests that best support the growth of the technology department
