Our client, a London-based leader in Architecture, is seeking an organised Junior Finance Analyst, to ensure the financial health and efficiency of the organisation. The PFA will build rapport and exchange information with internal teams, to influence the following of established procedures, while also searching for avenues to improve efficiency and reduce errors. This position requires clear and effective communication to ensure smooth financial operations. This Analyst role presents an exciting opportunity to join an influential practice shaping the UK and collaborate closely with key stakeholders, to further a high impact portfolio of Architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining the ‘Kudos’ database for the studio through inputting and maintaining fees, recharges, and sub-consultant data.
Managing personnel data, overseeing timesheet collection, performing cross-checks and processing.
Assisting staff in managing the Strategic Time Planner.
Accurate and timely project financial reporting.
Meticulously managing project fees, costs, and reconciliations.
Identify areas for improvement within established financial practices.
Preparing detailed fee forecast reports and financial models.
Providing essential insights for both short-term decisions and long-term planning.
Maintaining immediate financial accuracy.
Promoting sustained financial excellence through strategic insights and continuous improvements.
Providing system training for new and existing staff.
Liaising with external auditors to support year-end financial activities.
Key Requirements
At least 1 years experience in a finance role
Advanced Excel knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and a quick aptitude for learning new software.
Skilled in VBA, SQL, PowerPivot, PowerQuery or a strong interest in learning.
Great attention to detail and accuracy.
Full professional English proficiency (written and spoken) and strong communication skills.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in organising information and effectively managing tasks and deadlines.
A background in purchase and sales ledger.
Experience in managing financial tasks and collaborating with stakeholders.
