Based in our London office in Angel, the Office Manager (12Month FTC) is responsible for ensuring the day to day smooth running of the office as well as creating an engaging and inspiring environment for our office population.


The Role

The Office Manager will partner up with key Central Functions to ensure office facilities are kept to a high standard at all times, and team members are equipped, engaged and looked after. Furthermore, the Office Manager will have some responsibilities for our Leeds office, with travel required on an ad-hoc basis only. Responsibilities will include:


Office management:

  • Welcoming and assisting new starters, organising induction packs, offering guidance and support around IT equipment, office supplies and H&S inductions
  • Welcoming visitors, being the face of the brand, offering H&S guidance and organising refreshments, where needed
  • Manage post and correspondence distribution
  • Meeting room management to include working closely with the IT Team on all IT equipment needs
  • Ordering and managing stationary supplies
  • General office organisation, ensuring all facilities are clean and tidy at all times and stocked with the necessary snacks and drinks for our team members and any external visitors
  • Responsible for all office internal communications


Supporting the PureGym engagement agenda:

  • General support with organising company events and conferences for both our London and Leeds office
  • Working closely with the Employee Experience team, helping to create a great community in the office by organising an annual calendar of events, executing and managing the communication around them, driving employee engagement in our London and Leeds offices


Assisting the Executive Management Partner with administrative duties:

  • Booking transport and accommodation
  • Processing expenses
  • Support with readiness for all Exec Team meetings, and attending as note taker where necessary
  • Step up in the absence of the Executive Management Partner to provide a high level of service and support to the Exec Team, where necessary


The Person

  • Experience managing an office or similar space.
  • Confident using Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Skilled host to external partners, stakeholders and visitors.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Proactive and positive approach to work.
  • Private and confidential in nature.
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to prioritize and communicate appropriately.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
  • Creative – enjoys coming up with new ideas.
