About The Role

Are you a tenured Senior Business Development Manager with a track record of delivering SaaS revenue?

Do you have experience in global mobility, business travel, relocation, or HR tech?

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding our client base and leading competitive tender processes that result from your sales activity. You will report directly to and be supported by our Head of Sales selling across our portfolio of solutions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Business Growth: Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, and customer segments. Find innovative ways to reach existing markets and expand our presence
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads and prospective customers through industry contacts, presentations, meetings, and cold approaches
  • Consultative Sales: Manage a consultative sales process, including technology demonstrations. Understand client needs and respond effectively with tailored plans and solutions
  • Product Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, advising clients on how our solutions can best meet their needs
  • Collaborative Strategy: Work closely with the marketing department to discuss promotional strategies and activities
  • RFP Management: Own and manage RFP and competitive tender processes, including developing content and delivering presentations


Experience & Skills:

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving business growth and generating revenue through business development or sales roles, with a strong emphasis on results and tangible outcomes
  • SaaS Sales Expertise: Experience selling SaaS solutions in a tech-focused environment. Experience within the Big Four or tech-focused travel solutions is a plus
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive experience and deep understanding of the global mobility, relocation, HR tech, or travel industry, including industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all organisational levels
  • Negotiation and Decision-Making: Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and decision-making, with the ability to analyse complex situations and develop strategic solutions
  • Relationship Building: Highly adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues, fostering long-term partnerships and collaboration
  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Outstanding strategic and analytical thinking capabilities, with the ability to identify opportunities, assess risks, and develop actionable plans to drive business growth
  • Results-Oriented: A results-oriented mindset with a relentless focus on achieving targets and exceeding expectations, consistently delivering outstanding performance and driving measurable outcomes
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in cross-functional teams, leveraging diverse perspectives and expertise to drive collective success
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in utilizing CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to leverage technology and data to drive effective sales and business development strategies
  • Willingness to Travel: Flexibility and willingness to travel as required, both domestically and internationally, to effectively engage with clients, partners, and industry events
