🌳 Dacorum Borough Council (DBC) planted 10 new trees at their housing neighbourhoods across Dacorum in partnership with Bugler Developments. 🪴 Three of the trees have been planted at Farland Road, Hemel Hempstead and councillors, the DBC housing team and representatives from Bugler Developments visited on Monday 10 March for a tree-planting ceremony. 🌱 The trees are being planted to replace ones that have been removed due to disease. Other trees funded by Bugler Developments are being planted at Great Heart, Hemel Hempstead; London Road, Apsley and Dukes Road, Bovingdon. 🏡 Bugler Developments have built key affordable housing projects in the borough, including Mountbatten View in Hemel Hempstead which was completed this year. 🌲 The trees have been carefully selected to enhance the environment and species include cherry, maple and foxglove. Cllr Simy Dhyani, DBC Portfolio Holder for Housing and Property Services, said: “It’s been wonderful to see these new trees take root, not only adding beauty to our neighbourhoods but also creating a natural barrier between parked cars and green spaces. Planting some of them myself was a real joy, and I’ll continue to champion more greenery across our housing estates. Thanks to our strong partnership with Bugler Developments, who have helped deliver so many of our affordable homes, we’ve been able to make this happen. These trees don’t just enhance the landscape; they bring environmental benefits and make our estates more welcoming places to live, all while being easy to maintain. Thoughtful planting like this is a small but meaningful way to improve our communities for years to come.” To find out more ➡️ https://bit.ly/4kv6ogg #Dacorum #Sustainability #PlantingTrees #BuglerGroup

🚺 In recognition of and to celebrate International Women’s Day 2025, several of the Bugler Group team took part in volunteering at Sunnyside Rural Trust. 👷♀️On a warm and sunny spring day, women from across our business supported the Sunnyside team in creating the world of the Wizard of Oz for their annual Trainee Awards event. Sunnyside, founded in 1990, is a thriving charity and social enterprise, offering training and work experience for over 170 vulnerable people in the Dacorum community. 🧙♀️From supplying props and the Yellow Brick Road, to helping create the Emerald City, the Dark Forest and setting up the venue, our team of volunteers, and those from Dacorum Borough Council got hands on with a number of activities to transform the space ahead of the awards. 💚 The team were also pleased to provide a donation of £500 to Sunnyside, on behalf of the Bugler Foundation, to further support the great work at Sunnyside. “My quote from Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, “Every journey begins with a single step – just keep moving forward.” It encapsulates the essence of embarking on a journey, whether it be a career or pursuit of one’s dreams, the quote inspires me to take that initial step, no matter how daunting it may seem. It urges me to push through uncertainties and many obstacles I may encounter along the way and ensuring I maintain my momentum and never losing sight of my goal.”– Helena O’Keeffe, Social Value and Community Manager at Bugler Developments To find out more ➡️ https://bit.ly/4bw0VBC #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2025 #Volunteering #BuglerGroup

🏡 Bugler Developments and the 1.5m New Homes Campaign We are co-sponsoring a series of videos about housebuilding in the London Borough of Ealing, which is incorporated into the December feature of the campaign 1.5M New Homes : The Local Government Challenge. Andy Bugler, Bugler Group CEO said: “It’s really important that councils are doing everything they can to get more homes built. Whether that’s as planning authorities, as partners with the private sector or directly themselves. And it’s equally important that we all work more collaboratively together, to give us the best chance of building all the homes we need.” Find out more: https://bit.ly/3C5f4Zj
