'When we met PMs they said they had this other fund as well.' Swedish fund selector Oskar Sandvik has opened up an EM search due to a period of underperformance. It was then that fund managers and their sales teams started pitching ex-China strategies to his €25bn unit as well. There aren't many ex-China funds, but more have been launched recently. Chinese equity has dragged badly over the past three years, falling over 30%. India now represents around 20% of the of the MSCI Emerging Markets index. Is he tempted?
