Curtiss-Wright Industrial Division reposted this
Over the past months, I've had many invaluable opportunities to connect with our employees, customers, industry thought leaders, and the investment community to share our Pivot to Growth Strategy. These engagements were exceptional platforms for me to discuss our progress and the momentum that we are building as an organization. Our year was ignited with a successful Investor Day 2024 conference and technology showcase in the spring, which was followed by participation in several financial, industrial, and aerospace & defense fireside chats, where I was joined by my colleague K. Christopher Farkas, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. We also recently celebrated our 95th-anniversary on August 22, 2024, commemorated with the time-honored tradition of ringing the NYSE Closing Bell ® with our executive leadership team. I am incredibly proud of my talented colleagues who are responsible for propelling Curtiss-Wright’s growth, and as we celebrate these wins together, I look forward to sharing our continued progress.

Meet Jonathan Morgan. Jon joined Penny + Giles at the company’s South Wales facility straight from school in 1998 on the government’s two-year Youth Training Scheme, during which time he also progressed through college studying mechanical engineering, achieving HNC and HND certificates. Jon started on the line as a production operative and, thanks to his extra studies, quickly moved to more advanced roles including engineering technician, junior engineer and senior project engineer. His latest role, as senior programme manager for industrial sensors and joystick controllers, sees Jon liaising with sales teams, suppliers and customers to ensure all projects remain on-track and on-cost. When asked about the highlights of his 26-year career with Curtiss-Wright, Jon’s reply was: “…really, it’s just the number of nice people I’ve worked with over the years.”. He also cited his time as senior engineer on projects for McConnell and Pelco, and being invited on to Curtiss-Wright’s Engineering Leadership Course, where he got to meet with his peers from across the Industrial Division business unit at the company’s Brea facility in California. It goes without saying that Jon is a real asset to the Curtiss-Wright team. #CurtissWright #MeetTheTeam #IndustrialSensors #JoystickControllers #MakingTheDifference
