A huge thank you to everyone that came along to the Media Cymru #AccessibleFutures Summit yesterday and made it such a fantastic and engaging day.
It was a truly thought provoking and inspiring day bringing together an incredible mix of people to discuss their lived experience, highlighting the fantastic work on accessibility, inclusion, and representation in all aspects of screen production and explore best practice, beyond just the basics.
The day was made possible by the Herculean effort from the University of South Wales team - Sally Lisk-Lewis, Sara Buckingham, Bethan Jones, Dr. James Davies, Helen Davies and Cherry Barber-Mansell.
This event has received funding and support from Welsh Government via Creative Wales / Cymru Greadigol. S4C and #TAC have also kindly provided sponsorship, and Access Bookings were our accommodation sponsor and partner.
The fantastic team at On Par. were commissioned to produce this excellent film to set the tone for the day... https://lnkd.in/e-C6eppC
