Durham has joined the Arqus European University Alliance as an associate member. Arqus is a multilateral alliance consisting of nine universities working together to transform European higher education, research and innovation through deep co-operation and progressive integration. This exciting milestone for our university was celebrated today when five Arqus representatives travelled to Durham for a momentous signing ceremony, marking the beginning of the partnership. St Mary’s Matriculation will take place in Durham Cathedral at 15:15 on October 3rd for incoming students. Principal Adrian Simpson would like to invite St Mary’s Alumni to join them for the matriculation ceremony.
