As part of our ongoing Black History Month celebrations at eBay UK, the Black Employees at eBay (BEE) recently hosted their second 'Great British Black Pub Quiz', which allowed colleagues to learn, have fun, and celebrate the rich diversity of Black British culture. 📝 Teams competed for prizes, tackling questions across diverse topics like sports, music and arts, literature and media and more — all with a focus on highlighting the contributions and experiences of Black Britons throughout the years. In the day, guests enjoyed delicious Afro-Caribbean food from Jerk Garden Catering, before enjoying refreshing drinks and tasty snacks, including a flavoursome delivery from our friends at Puff Puff Ministry, for the quiz itself. 🧁 Congratulations to all the winning teams, and a heartfelt thank you to the BEE team for organising the quiz and to all the partners and suppliers who helped put on a meaningful event! 🤝🏾 #blackhistorymonth #BlackAtEbay #community #LifeAtEbay

This year, the eBay Refurbished team sponsored the PCR Awards, a night which celebrates and recognises the incredible companies operating within the Computing & Gaming Industry that have made a significant impact on the sector. Earlier this month, eBay employees came together to volunteer their time with four charities working to support the community and environment in our local area: Home Start, Vineyard Community Centre, Habitats & Heritage, and Migrant Advocacy Service 🌎 With Home Start and Vineyard Community Centre, we prepared over 120 care parcels for families and vulnerable individuals in the Richmond area, including supplies for new parents, winter essentials, hygiene packs and holiday gift parcels. Some of the team also went down to Migrant Advocacy Service’s community fridge, providing supplies and companionship. Lastly, with Habitats & Heritage, we helped with litter picking and site restoration in Richmond. It was great to see over 80 eBayers taking part. The Impact Day builds on the year-round work of our Changemakers community, who connect the team with volunteering opportunities in the places we live and work 🚀
