In February, we hosted our annual Edinburgh Napier University Nursing & Midwifery Career Day 🩺 We were delighted to welcome more than 450 students and almost 100 healthcare professionals to our Sighthill Campus. The event provided an invaluable opportunity for students to connect with employers and learn more about exciting roles in nursing and midwifery. It's National Careers Week and we wanted to highlight how Edinburgh Napier Student Futures supports Careers Professionals of the future! Every year we support our PG Dip Career Guidance & Development students on a placement organised by Susan Meldrum and Kimberley Ritchie. We aim to provide a varied and interesting experience and a glimpse at the range of roles and support we have in our team. This year we had the pleasure of hosting Liz Hughes. Liz was with us for 2 weeks and was professional, curious, engaged and capable throughout her time with the Student Futures team. At the end of her placement Liz said, "Thank you to all the team for such a warm welcome and for such an enjoyable placement. I have been able to observe and participate in such a wide variety of interventions, which is going to really enhance my learning".
