Every accessible kitchen design needs to also consider accessible appliances, and we have teamed up with NEFF Home Appliances to ensure that every aspect of a kitchen can meet every need. A recent innovative and brand-new feature for NEFF is the Door Open Assist function on its refrigeration and dishwashers, which allows the doors to open via the Home Connect app or smart speaker. As well as being ultra-convenient when busy hands are full, this hands-free feature also helps to assist with independent living. We’re excited to share our latest collaboration with the RNIB at its new head office, Grimaldi Building in London. We had the privilege of providing a bespoke waterfall edge worktop for the RNIB’s communal coffee area, specially designed with accessibility in mind. A contrasting colour edge and tactile features help visually impaired individuals navigate the space with ease, ensuring both safety and functionality. We’re proud to support the RNIB's mission of creating a world without barriers for those with sight loss. I had my first face to face meeting at Symphony's head office with Freedoms latest accessible kitchen dealers Thomas Vaughan Ltd. I showed Steve and Dan around Symphonys state of the art marketing suite. They are a father and son team who are passionate about bring cutting edge accessible multi generational design to Wales. I can't wait to see their new showroom with Symphony's fully working Freedom display and try out the virtual reality design system they will be using in the new year.
