Featuring GCP INTEGRITANK® liquid waterproofing across the lower and main roof, as well as on the podium deck. The system’s fast application, one-hour cure time and on-the-spot quality assurance provides peace of mind for both applicator and client.

I’m thrilled to share some groundbreaking news for Saint-Gobain. The Group announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Fosroc, a leading privately owned global construction chemicals player for $1,025 million (approximately €960 million).   Following the acquisitions of CHRYSO in 2021, GCP in 2022, and 33 additional acquisitions in many countries since 2021, this move, perfectly aligned with our “Grow & Impact” strategic plan, is a new strategic step in establishing Saint-Gobain’s worldwide presence in construction chemicals. With its 3,000 employees and 20 plants worldwide, Fosroc designs and manufactures concrete admixtures and cement additives, but also specialty building materials, like waterproofing, adhesives and sealants, protective coatings, cement repair, and flooring. Highly profitable, outperforming its markets, with a strong brand recognized by its customers, the company offers high-value products that are very complementary to our own, with a strong foothold in the high-growth markets of India and the Middle East. Together with Thierry Bernard (our CEO for Construction Chemicals Business Unit) and David Molho (CEO of High Performance Solutions), I am looking forward to warmly welcoming the Fosroc teams into Saint-Gobain and I am very confident about the combination of our joint forces to accelerate our growth and the deployment of our vision as the worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction and our purpose to “Make the world a better home”. We are excited to unveil our new innovation, Bond Coat 4, at the #ViaNordica event in Copenhagen. Bond Coat 4, a patent pending tack coat, has been designed for use with our ELIMINATOR® system. ELIMINATOR® and Bond Coat 4 provide exceptional protection to the bridge deck in even the harshest conditions, reducing maintenance costs and traffic disruptions.   Bond Coat 4 improves the contact between the membrane and asphalt for enhanced adhesion, reducing the risk of premature surfacing failure. The ELIMINATOR® system, with its unique ESSELAC® advanced resin technology, creates composite action between the deck, waterproof membrane, substrate and asphalt, ensuring that the membrane is fully bonded, enabling it to stand up to an array of climatic conditions and heavy traffic loads.   Speaking about this new innovation, Jason Armstrong, Global Product Manager for Bridge & Deck Waterproofing at GCP said “It is great to officially launch Bond Coat 4 at Via Nordica.
