We're thrilled to announce the arrival of Hiu Kwan (Olivia) SI, who joined us in September 2024 as an Architectural Designer! 🤩 Hiu brings extensive experience, having practiced as an Architectural Assistant (Part 2) in Hong Kong, where she worked on large-scale, mixed-use projects such as a sports stadium, the Asia World Expo extension, a train station, and various office and residential developments. With a strong background in BIM coordination and design innovation, Hiu is eager to contribute to GOLDBECK's forward-thinking, sustainable building solutions. Hiu is excited about joining a company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, impactful projects and looks forward to collaborating with the talented team at GOLDBECK. 😍 Beyond architecture, Hiu enjoys unleashing creativity through doodling, visiting museums, and capturing special moments with a collection of vintage cameras while traveling. John joined us in August as a Project Manager in our Logistics Team, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the construction industry. 🏗 John’s impressive career spans a diverse range of projects, from hospitals and schools to eco-friendly builds and award-winning developments that have made a lasting impact on communities. His expertise in sustainable construction has earned him national recognition, and his contributions to the industry, particularly in the area of cladding systems and fire safety, have been invaluable. 🍃🏗 When asked why he chose to join GOLDBECK, John shared, "It takes me back to my family business, which has always prioritised long-term partnerships with clients. His career journey began as a chain boy, progressing to site engineering, and then expanding his commercial awareness in estimating. He's now returning to his roots in construction engineering. We are delighted to welcome Annalena Kill to the team! Annalena joined us in August from the international trainee program and will be with us until the end of October as part of her training. 🤩 Annalena began her journey with GOLDBECK in November 2022 in Germany, and over the course of her program, she has gained experience in various departments and locations, from sustainability and legal to site management. Her work has taken her across Munich, Frankfurt, Denmark, Bielefeld, Monheim, and now the UK, where she is contributing to the development and introduction of GOLDBECK’s residential system in the UK. 🌍 On why she chose GOLDBECK, Annalena shares: "I joined GOLDBECK because an international trainee program at a forward-looking, sustainability-focused, and innovative company sounded really exciting to me after finishing my degree. The clarity the company has about its values became clear during my interviews, which further solidified my decision." Please join me in welcoming our new team member, Stefan Petrich, who joined us last month from GOLDBECK’s Leipzig office! 👏 Stephan started his career as a Buyer for the MEP team in Leipzig before moving into MEP project management. During this time, he played a key role in some exciting logistics projects, including two major BMW developments. Later, at our Magdeburg branch, Stephan expanded his expertise by working on a variety of GOLDBECK projects, including office building construction. When asked about his journey with GOLDBECK, Stephan shared: “I first learned about GOLDBECK in 2017, as the company is active in my hometown near Bielefeld. While writing my thesis in Leipzig, I decided to pursue my career here after completing my MEP studies. Conversations with GOLDBECK colleagues confirmed it was the right place for my professional growth.” Outside of work, Stephan enjoys kite-surfing, hitting the gym, and a sunny round of golf whenever he gets the chance. ☀ Welcome to the team, Stefan!
