Some of my connections asked me for a simplified version of the MB-800, a detailed course on Business Central without the extra bits to pass the exam. So I made one. What is this course: A detailed course that covers Business Central functional area without the bits you need to know to pass the MB-800 exam. Who is this course for: - Non-functional users like system admins and developers. - End-users with experience in some modules who want to learn more about the rest of BC's offerings. - Business decision-makers and teams of small organizations who want to upgrade to BC using a DIY approach. - Finance consultants who want to learn the other modules. We start on October 5th and will be live on MS Teams over four consecutive Saturdays. (So we don't take time off work!) Sign up using the link below. https://lnkd.in/eAK3Yz_u

  • Why can't ChatGPT answer simple questions about MSDYN365 apps?

Why can't ChatGPT answer simple questions about MSDYN365 apps? When ChatGPT was released, I decided to give it a try.   At first, I got excited about how the application uses natural language to respond to simple questions.   However, when I started asking questions about the features and capabilities of enterprise applications like Business Central, I understood that a Pre-Trained Language Model (ChatGPT stands for Generative Pre-Trained) could not give me the information I needed. Even Microsoft Copilot, designed to answer questions related to Dynamics 365 applications, can only repeat what's available on the Learn Microsoft website.   The problem with natural language processing is not the technology but the knowledge base it can access. After all, if AI can be used to diagnose health conditions, it can definitely help consultants close knowledge gaps, learn how to apply features to address clients' requirements and troubleshoot errors. We didn't know how until now.   Over the last few months, I have been working on an AI tutor for Dynamics 365 applications, and I will soon have a working prototype. This tutor will be radically different from ChatGPT or Copilot because it can: - Access a proprietary knowledge base so it can answer questions with accuracy - Understand the application core code to consider the technical side of features and pages - Frame questions and answers using business process frameworks   Almost twenty consultants in six countries have already accepted my invitation to be a BETA tester and test the first prototype. For now, it will have limited features and work only for Dynamics 365 Business Central.   I am asking you to join me in this journey of discovery so we can shape the future of natural language processing for enterprise application users or consultants. Comment with "Tell me more" on this post to learn more about the pre-release program. Whether you are a consultant, user or an organization using Microsoft Dynamics applications, you can contribute to the design of the next-generation AI tool for enterprise applications. In return, you can purchase licences for you or your organization at a fraction of the market value when we are ready to launch. Microsoft Trainer and Consultant | AI-LMS Founder: On a Mission to Upskill Enterprise Consultants with AI-Driven, Personalized Training

I bought a value proposition design book because I want to help other enterprise software consultants deliver better projects. In marketing, a value proposition is a concise statement of the benefits a company delivers to customers who buy its products or services. It serves as a declaration of intent inside the company and in the marketplace. A value proposition conveys the following: - Your brand’s key features and benefits. - How you differ from competitors. - How you’ll solve customers’ problems. It’s like saying, “Here’s what we do and why we’re perfect for you.” How is that relevant to enterprise software consultants like us who deliver Microsoft Dynamics projects? After all, we don't sell software; we sell our expertise. Here is the catch: your value proposition is not about the software; it's about your expertise and what makes you different from other MS partners. When I check MS partners' websites or even here on LinkedIn, I always see problems with their value proposition. They focus on the product, not on their team. The problem with that approach is that clients don't see any difference between all the MS partners invited to give a demo or respond to an RFP. They all pitch the same product, and the client cannot see any benefit in choosing you over a competitor, which means they will choose the cheaper option. The other downside of having a weak value proposition is that the client sees you as an order taker, and they drive the solution design; after all, if the value you give is only about the software, why should a client let you lead the implementation? How do you solve the value proposition problems as a Microsoft Dynamics consultant? Take the time to find out your unique abilities and embed them into your delivery framework with dedicated workshops, documents and dedicated technology. Here are some examples: - We are the only MS partner in this region with vertical expertise in food production. Dedicated extensions for catch weight and product recalls are part of our standard offering. - We help clients with change management strategies during every software implementation to help their teams adopt the new software faster. - We have enhanced security and data protection policies and tools that we will use throughout the project to keep your data safe. Your value proposition is not simply a nice-to-have and is not just for marketing. Successful companies live and breathe their value proposition; it becomes part of their culture. What is your value proposition? #msdyn365 #erp #valueproposition
