A survey by Deloitte has found nearly a third (31%) of UK employees who use generative AI for work, access tools they pay for themselves. The survey showed that 48% of employees who use AI for work used free, publicly available generative AI tools. A further 62% reported thinking that either a 'great' or 'fair' amount of UK employees use generative AI without their employer’s permission, and 40% said employees didn't see any risk in doing so.
