Today is the 25th anniversary of the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention. The OECD Anti-Bribery Convention came into force 25 years ago, on 15 February 1999. A legally binding international instrument, it has been pivotal in the fight against the bribery of foreign public officials in global business transactions. Key features of the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention include: ➡️ Criminalisation of active foreign bribery by individuals and companies ➡️ Jurisdiction over bribery offences committed abroad ➡️ Regular and rigorous monitoring of each country’s anti-bribery laws and actions ➡️ Cooperation among member countries Learn more about the Convention: https://brnw.ch/21wGZYq | Business and Finance at the OECD | #OECDintegrity
