Our Northern Ireland Hub partnered with Aeroblue Software to enhance pricing strategies in the food and beverage industry through machine learning. Aeroblue’s CleverFoodie platform leverages AI-driven sales pricing recommendations, analysing historical pricing, sales data, and customer behaviour to suggest optimised price adjustments. By applying the Frequent Pattern Growth algorithm, this approach reduces manual effort, minimises waste, and improves profitability through data-driven decision-making. Foodborne microbial contamination poses a significant challenge to the food produce industry, impacting public health and regulatory compliance. 🦠 Addressing this challenge requires a deep understanding of where potential exposure to foodborne microbial contaminants can occur - this means understanding every step of the way, from production and transportation to sale and consumption. 🥬 We are developing PRISM - Production Risk Systems-based Microsimulation modelling - in collaboration with Newcastle University through the Hartree National Centre for Digital Innovation (HNCDI). This solution will support food producers, manufacturers and retailers to improve their processes and reduce exposure risk. Today we held a workshop with food produce stakeholders to understand the challenges and concerns they may face, and how to address them as we continue developing PRISM with our users in mind. 🤝 Find out more about HNCDI here: https://lnkd.in/e7Ryy6Ks Massimo Noro | David Meredith | Stephen Checkley | Asda | Tesco | Marks and Spencer | Sainsbury's | Samworth Brothers | Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC) | Cranfield University | Durham University | University of Southampton | Del Monte Foods | Thermo Fisher Scientific #FoodSafety #FoodProduce #DigitalSolutions
