Dr. Ananta Dave, from Doctors in Distress, gave an impactful presentation at Future Surgery on the importance of proactively embedding a positive workplace culture: “Do not mistake a positive culture for a weak or ineffective culture. The baseline has to be honesty, openness and realism,” she commented. A staggering 9.4% are leaving the NHS and this is increasing year on year. We need to act to stop bullying and harassment - it is costing the NHS £2 billion per year!
