What a week we’ve had! The first edition of Potato Days UK organised by the DLG e.V. - German Agricultural Society came to Lincolnshire!🥔 The UK Food Valley team were privileged to be able to support this event, from helping find the site at Dyson Farming over a year ago to arranging the brilliant speaker programme where we covered some key topics for the sector: 🚜 Does technology pay? 🌱 Can we grow net zero potatoes? 💦 How is the industry responding to water challenges? 📚How do potatoes fit into current and future agri-food policy? The event also saw live technology and harvest demos, crop trials and the latest innovations in the sector. It was so lovely to catch up with lots of old faces, and to meet some new ones of course! Roll on the next edition in 2026. Delighted to attend #PotatoDaysUK at Dyson Farming in Nocton today. Lincolnshire is at the heart of the UK’s Agrifood sector, enabling investing companies to join industry-leading clusters right across the food value chain so it is great to welcome the first #PotatoDaysUK event here in the county and hear of the opportunities in the sector.
