Over the summer, Educational Enhancement have worked closely with ten postgraduate international students to develop guidance and resources to support the international student experience at the University. From this collaboration, two workshops have been co-created: 1. Clarifying Assessment Expectations - https://lnkd.in/e8bjKJ5j 2. Intercultural Teaching Practice - https://lnkd.in/eJV_rvg7 These workshops, co-delivered with international students, will take place on campus on Friday, 13th September. As the new academic year approaches, these workshops offer the opportunity to make small changes to teaching and assessment practices that we believe will have a big impact on the educational experience of all students. Please feel free to sign up for one or both workshops via the links above. These sessions are open to all colleagues at the University of Sussex who have an interest in teaching. Refreshments will be provided.

Effective infographics combine visual appeal with the ability to communicate complex information to a broad audience. This hands-on workshop provides participants with the opportunity to create an infographic related to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). You’ll have access to a digital platform and receive guidance on the process of creating an infographic. Best practices will be shared, demonstrating how infographics can effectively disseminate SoTL knowledge beyond academia and into the public domain.
