In our continued commitment to young people, for years to come. 🙌 The new space and #mural, honours our 10 years of Spotlight - and the future: The incredible young people who created the mural design.  #YouthWorkWeek #SocialHousing 📖Read the journey here: https://bit.ly/3OhrQqh We have been open at our site in #Poplar for 10 years, shining as leaders in a gold standard of youth work in #TowerHamlets, and London widely. 👉In the last 10 years, we have engaged 15K young people in person at youth spaces and 1.8K on outreach. We are committed to adapting to the needs of young people in an ever-changing world. Ask a #youthworker - they'll tell you a game of Pool or Fifa is not to be underestimated in building peer friendships and healthy relationships with #youngpeople. While also providing them with a #safespace.🎱🎮 The new games room was generously supported by funding from the Rangoonwala Foundation and McLaren Group, designed in collaboration with Grime photographer, Olivia Rose, and young people from the local community. 🔑 We also extend our thanks to CRA Architects, who led the design on Spotlight youth space, and joined the opening celebration. Alongside British Land and Strive Development, who also joined us as collaborators on this project.

I recently found out that I am in the top 1% of my industry (not-for-profit) according to my Social Scoring Index (SSI)… Whatever that means 😏.
