Excellant professional manner

5 shiny ⭐️’s for Mohammed from
OPEN REACH BT , he was a polite & professional engineer, Rang before attending, on arrival ,being considerate of my property he bought shoe/covers, i appreciate that. Found the fault , and reconnected it with a new wall router. He answered any questions i had. Explained technical stuff to me to help me better understand, and even helped me do a wifi speed test. Many~Thanks

No crackling!!!

After months of my phone crackling to the point of not being able to have a pleasant conversation with anyone I can now hear every word anyone says. Absolutely brilliant engineer David traced the fault to the attic where the line comes in. He didn't just check the plug in phone line which everybody else did.

Very satisfied with appointment

Appointment first thing, engineer called to confirm. Very polite and friendly. Issue fixed promptly.

5 stars given due to the engineers visit however not happy that the original issue which left me without internet for 2 weeks was caused by being disconnected at the junction box which I assume can only be accessed by Open Reach

The engineer was excellent.

The engineer was very good. He is obviously experienced and explained every test and result he performed. Unfortunately there was a problem not with the line but either with the router or with BT. Again, unfortunately, despite BT's assurance everything has been fixed nothing has changed and I am still getting only a 3rd of the promised speed.

Mitch, Broadband Engineer

Mitch, the engineer assigned to the work, arrived within the stated time contacting me beforehand. He set about the task in hand after informing what he was going to do and to ask where I would like the installation putting. A very cheerful and friendly guy who tackled it all with a smile. Clean, tidy and efficient, Mitch took me through everything and made sure everything was working before he left my property. A hard working, charming and efficient tradesman. I would highly recommend him as a good ambassador for the company.

Lee, Openreach Engineer

Lee, the Outreach engineer, was on schedule, friendly, courteous and professional, a credit to the company.
Top Man.
Which is more than I can say for the EE side of the system. A nightmare to contact and when, eventually, a human voice is heard one is always passed onto another department. Why, if a fault is being reported, are the engineers not the first port of call??
EE is a joke!

Fantastic Engineer- Villy

OPENREACH Engineer (Villy), was courteous throughout his visit.
He explained every step of the way, giving me options for the install.
Very knowledgeable & remained very professional the entire time he was at my address.
All rubbish was removed, leaving it as clean as when he arrived.
Top engineer 10/10

First class job

Thanks to Alex first class job and getting our internet and tv working again the fault was outside and had been caused by a sub contractor they had disconnected my line in order to fit another line in for somebody else I hope that the telecoms contractor gets billed for this

Great service from Tomas

Throughout his visit, the Open Reach engineer, Tomas, kept me informed of what he was doing to improve our internet service. He gave me sound advice on what I can do myself to keep it running as fast as possible. Very pleased with the service we received. 👍🏻

The engineer arrived nice and early

The engineer arrived nice and early, was extremely polite and explained exactly what he needed to do to install my broadband. The engineer did an amazing job and finished the job really quickly, explained everything and helped me set up on the tv, even on my phone. Great service due to such a friendly/experienced engineer!

Dan was amazing very understanding

Dan was amazing very understanding, helped me with any confusions on the app, and then once he left he even called just to double check that everything was connected well and if I having any issues. Dan also interacted and was calm around my autistic 3 year old and let him show him his room (a big thing as he doesn’t like strangers in his home)

Install

Matthew arrived onsite and managed to pull in a couple of other Openreach operatives and completed our install in a very short time frame. The case had been listed as a repair and there was far more work to do than anticipated. They went above and beyond to get us set up. I am very grateful.

Benjamin came within 3 days of my call…

Benjamin came within 3 days of my call to BT, where Taylor was extremely helpful, understanding and effective.
Benjamin was prompt, extremely polite, careful, competent and capable. He ordered a new Router which arrived the next morning.

Troy is an assett to Open Reach

So Troy went above and beyond to make sure the install went smoothly and was where and how I wanted it installed. Very polite and professional and clearly knows his job well. I offered him easier routes to take but he went for the shortest route despite giving him a bit of extra work to do. Seriously impressed with his level of work and competency. A true asset to Open Reach.

Oliver tried a few things to resolve…

Oliver tried a few things to resolve the speed/wifi issue at our property without success. Plusnet still confirmed there was a problem at the exchange and should have been rectified. Later in the day received a message that the problem had been fixed and noted that speeds had increased.

The lad who came to fit the connection…

The lad who came to fit the connection (although lovely) was quite clearly needing to be elsewhere ASAP. He left my sofa and tv/stand all having been moved by him for access, in the middle of the floor! He did not connect my tv to the new router, even though I told him I am bad with technology. He left the old original router still switched on.
I had to ask my neighbour for help putting everything back and clearing away the old equipment and trying to find an adequate space for the new one as well as asking him to connect devices to new router.

The engineer moved the socket from…

The engineer moved the socket from where I wanted it moved to where I needed. The fixing on the wall is not sturdy and tight enough and I can see it becoming lose over time.

The other request I had was due to unstable broadband service. The service keeps on dropping and I noticed it dropped more than twice yesterday after I have been assured by the engineer that the fault had been fixed.

Great Engineer

We have had numerous engineers come in to “fix” our internet, only to be told there is nothing wrong with it! David came yesterday and immediately found a fault and fixed it. Very friendly and informative engineer, he is an asset to BT

2 Days early.

2 Days early.
I was told by my broadband provider (Now TV) that it would be 3 to 5 working days before an open reach engineer would be able rectify the problem, however 24 hours later i received a text about John an engineer would be working on the problem. And everything was up and running by the time I got home. So thank you John

Really pleased with the service I got

Really pleased with the service I got, the engineer was friendly and helpful.
The only comment is that for us elderly people (70's) an engineer should install the product from the beginning. I am still getting faulty messages, followed the email I received this morning and now the hub isn't working so will need to phone up again!
