Metallurgical Fire Undeath created one of the best modern death metal albums two years ago, and More Insane is more of the same. They’re shaping up to be as consistent as Dying Fetus and Skeletal Remains. These bands have roots in the old school, but they’re consistently driven to improve and change things up.

TheOvermatt I didn't get the hype surrounding the last album, but this one is everything I wanted from it and more. Just good, fun, hooky death metal. Favorite track: More Insane.

bcb723 Sometimes one can get flowery with verbose reviews of upcoming releases... not here. Undeath doesn't miss and is carrying on the violent Corpse legacy to a new generation.

PS - The fact that all 3 covers are linked with the 1st 2 album covers happening in this severed godhead's mind on the 3rd that's been split open is insane. My inner nerd appreciates the thematic cover art continuity haha Favorite track: Brandish The Blade.

analogsplitter It's easy to be distracted by the lovely cover art, but Undeath have risen from the grave (again) to deliver up some disgusting puke bucket-vocals with an impressive low-end and some amazingly knotty riffs and head-spinning percussion. If you like your DM grimy and Corpse-y, this is your stop.
