My grandmother is probably the most important person ever to me, as she provided me with the stability and care a child needs growing up. We all have or have had people helping us become a responsible and caring person, and this short narrative game is an ode to these people.

This is how it feels to have a grandmother?
Such a lovely game about spending time with Grandma! It certainly brought back some memories of going mushroom picking with my own parents!
I found this short & sweet game in the Palestine bundle and it made me cry. I'd call it more of an interactive story however, it was still worthwhile for sure. It was only about 30 minutes of gameplay, but the art & music is so relaxing and pretty and the imagery &story told really portray grief so well. At first I was annoyed, wondering what the point of the game was..but curious enough to keep going and in the end I didn't regret a thing. Kinda metaphorical for life lol.
I highly recommend this esp if you've ever grieved the loss of a positive authority figure.
such a sweet little game, so adorable and relaxing. I cried because it made me think of my aunt, that is gone some years ago. thank you for this game
such a nice experience :)
I got this through the Palestine Bundle, wow. what a loving tribute to your grandma. My parents didn't give me much space either.. and i could relate to you, but my grandma was always there for me, and so open, and unendingly kind. It felt nice in a way to walk alongside her again, and especially the title hit me <3
Just got this through the Palestine bundle. What a lovely little game! The art and music is beautiful. Maybe I should see if my grandma wants to go for a walk in the woods again soon...
I never knew either of my grandmothers, and this game made me sob like a baby for most of it. Thank you for this intimate window into your relationship with your grandmother, it was extremely special to me.
my oma just passed last week, and this was such a gut punch in the best way. thank you <3
I liked the Artstyle very much. The Story seems to be very personal and i have been absolutely surprised by this beautifull gem.
Heyyy I played this game 3 years back when it was free, remembered the game and came here and bought it! Ty for the great game looking forward to your game How to say goodbye!
hi, can I ask which game engine do you use to create this art?
I might be one of the few to say that I didn't enjoy this game, but that's okay.
I enjoyed the music and the visuals, but for most of the game I was bored. It's true that the grandma in this game is heartwarming, but walking parts of the game are just too long, and I feel like the game didn't have any conclusion. You expect something tragic or life-changing to occur to the main character (or to the granny), but nothing ever happens.
In short, if you enjoy relaxing games with almost no story, you'll like Lieve Oma. Otherwise, I can't really recommend this game, but props to the developer for creating a heartwarming experience..
I'm not crying, you're crying!
such a gorgeous and touching game, you immersed me with the elegant visuals, sounds, and story. everything felt so deeply moving with such minimal dialogue. really well crafted!!
This was so sweet and wonderful. I loved the tiny details. Like the heron you talked about as a childe being there when adult/teenage MC is walking through the woods. And the way Grandma would comment if you ran too far ahead or would wait for you if you lagged behind. A really sweet game. Thank you for making this wholesome gem. I'm glad I played it.
this was so wonderful. I loved every single moment of it.
3rd game
3 Cozy Games #1
bawled my eyes out. wasn't ready for the amount of grief that could come with such a small wholesome game.
Just bought this lovely game! Can't wait to play it tonight
Dawwwwww :3 What a wholesome game! Great artwork and style. Loved playing it.
Love this game relaxing on my mac playing before work
Which engine have you used
Hi, this game is made in Unity! Thanks for checking it out :)
I wanted to port it to rg350 or ubuntu touch, I needed to be done in godot, but hey great job
I streamed it on Twitch ❤️
I've never played a game that made me feel as nostalgic as this one, the atmosphere is amazing
brb going to cry about how much I love my grandma. And trees. I love the slow transition from deciduous to coniferous, and how the mushrooms only grow near piles of leaves. So well thought out. Thank you for this experience.
Simple, yet very moving. Made me smile. Thank you for the walk! And much love on Grandmas.
Very nice, calm game, a little slow for my taste, but very lovely ♥ Reminded me of my walks with my granddad in the forest, looking for mushrooms ♥
Enjoyed Mushrooms
very cute, feels real. loved it!!
Lovely little game. glad I played it :)
At one point I completely forgot we were collecting mushrooms and just enjoyed the walk with gramma. A lovely game :)
I never really knew my grandmas very well so it was very sweet to have one taking care of me during the game. She wasn't even mad we only found two mushrooms!! Thank you for this game.
Such a wonderful game, I loved playing it, such a shame that I change me device and now i have to pay and i'm broke. But seriously this is truly my fav game her :), keep up the good wor
Great job :)
what a lovely little game. feels so authentic, brimming heart and soul. i really loved the art style as well, it visualises that transition from child to adult so well, clearly requiring talent to be pulled off while drawing from the crayon textured scribbles we all made so many of as a kid
Played and enjoyed every moment of being with grandma.
Let down by the fact we only found 3 mushrooms and ended up with a rissoto.
This game is a gem, I loved every second of it. Congrats on a great job:)
How come this game has suddenly become paid when it used to be free?
Hi there, as I have recently gone indie full time, I decided to make my work paid, so it can hopefully help me with the creation of future games!
When I had a full-time job as a game developer I didn't have the bandwidth to maintain the game as a paid product. Making the game paid is a pledge on my behalf towards maintaining the game as much as possible. As soon as I am done with the game I am currently working on, I'm looking into adding custom language support, some UI bug fixing and some additional cool things.
But most of all, by paying for the game you're giving me direct support to create new fun, gentle, warming & kind games
I hope you understand! Don't hesitate to reach out if you want to talk more about this via veltman.florian at gmail dot com ❤

Just want to point out that it's a great game and it's a really reasonable price. It was just causing some confusion to me when I noticed I couldn't download it when I wanted to give it a try.
Dev also seems like a really cool person from the comment :)
