Executives, Is Your Communication Getting Through? As leaders, we’re constantly communicating, to clients, partners, staff, and teams. But here’s the key question: Is your message truly getting through? If it’s not landing effectively, consider these essentials: 👉Clarity: Are you direct and precise in what you’re saying? Ambiguity leads to missed objectives. 👉Connection: Do you adapt your communication style for different personalities and situations? Personalized communication makes a stronger impact. 👉Consistency: Do you follow through on what you say? Consistency builds trust, while inconsistency creates doubt. 👉Listening: Are you truly listening and adjusting based on responses? Effective communication is a two-way street. When delivering or receiving a message, pay close attention to the synchronicity of: ❤️Words: Are they saying what they mean? ❤️Tonality: Does the tone match the intent or emotion? ❤️Body Language: Is posture, expression, and movement in harmony with their words? If these three aren’t aligned, something may be off. By asking questions and digging deeper, you can ensure the message has been fully received. Understanding the alignment between words, tone, and body language is crucial.
