We are delighted to announce that our doctors, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thao (Hoan My Saigon Hospital) and Dr. Mai Cong Loi (Hoan My Cuu Long Hospital), have successfully completed the international training program “Medical Korea Academy Global” organised and sponsored by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) under the Ministry of Health and Welfare (South Korea). Over the course of four weeks, the doctors were immersed in a highly professional international healthcare setting, observing the application of cutting-edge medical technology, exploring modern facilities, and collaborating with renowned South Korean professors. In particular, the two doctors from Hoan My received specialised training at Asan Medical Center (AMC), South Korea’s largest general tertiary-care hospital. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thao expanded his expertise and enhanced his proficiency in managing complex cases and conditions related to gastrointestinal surgery and gastric cancer. Dr. Mai Cong Loi acquired comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge, along with practical experience, in coronary interventions, structural heart procedures, peripheral vascular interventions, and the management of cardiovascular patients in various healthcare settings. It reflects Hoan My's efforts to strengthening international collaborations and enhancing the expertise of our medical team, striving to foster innovations in diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. Earlier, Hoan My Medical Group and Asan Medical Center signed a strategic collaboration agreement aimed at elevating the quality of medical services during the 2023 Vietnam-South Korea Business Forum. Hoan My joins hands to support over 1,200 flood-affected people in Hoa Binh We are pleased to share that Hoan My Medical Group has joined forces with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, and the Health & Life Newspaper under the Ministry of Health, in a program dedicated to assisting residents in the northern region affected by floods. Dr. Nguyen Tuan, Group Chief Medical Officer, led a team of 22 doctors and nurses from the Hoan My Medical System to collaborate with the northern medical team and offered free medical checkups and medication to more than 1,200 people in Muong Chieng commune, Hoa Binh province on September 26. This is one of the areas most severely affected by Typhoon Yagi and the flooding. In particular, the urgent need for medical care after the flood is critical. Along with medical assistance, Hoan My Medical Group donated 500 million VND to help healthcare workers and residents in Muong Chieng rebuild their lives after the disaster. “Hoan My is dedicated to standing alongside the Vietnamese people in recovering from disasters and addressing urgent healthcare needs. Dr. Tang Ha Nam Anh Elected as President of ASEAN Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy (ASSA) We are proud to share that Dr. Tang Ha Nam Anh, Director of the Hoan My Orthopedic and Spine Center has been elected as President of ASSA at the third annual scientific conference of the Vietnam Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy Society (VAAS) in Hanoi earlier this week. Dr. Nam Anh currently serves as President of VAAS and Vice President of the Rheumatology Association of Ho Chi Minh City.
