Recycling with kids An environmental consiousness plays an important role on the kids education journey from early age, and hands on experience on plastic recycling is an effective key helping kids to obtain knowledge on recycled or unrecyclable plastic waste. Yesterday, Lagom Vietnam has a great opportunity working with kids at Ai Mo primary school at Lagom MRF in Hanoi. We are happy to help kids experiencing DIY workshop by touch, observe, and feel the process of identifying, collection, and recycling plastic waste, used beverage cartons via Lagom small scale recycling machines. Seeing kids of our nation growing with the environmental protection awareness is our biggest joy and a valuable reward in our journey for the greener Vietnam🌍

Plastic Waste - A Collective Effort As part of the "Fly Light to Con Dao" campaign by Vietnam Airlines, Vasco, Lagom Vietnam is collecting bags of recyclable plastic waste, each one filled with the hopes of the Con Dao community—especially the children—dreaming of transforming plastic waste into useful products for the island. During Phase 1 of the campaign, we gathered 890kg of recyclable plastic, thanks to the supports from kids, students, local police forces, military soldiers, and residents. Together, they’ve created a heartwarming story of Con Dao’s journey toward a greener, more sustainable future—where environmental consciousness is a part of daily life. Plastic Waste Recycling Awareness Program on Con Dao Island As part of the "Fly Light to Con Dao" campaign organized by Vietnam Airlines, @VASCO, Lagom Vietnam, and partners, Lagom Vietnam has launched a training program aimed at raising awareness about plastic waste sorting, collection, and recycling for teachers in participating schools. A total of 90 teachers from three schools—Cao Van Ngoc Primary School, Le Hong Phong Secondary School, and Vo Thi Sau High School—joined the training and are now implementing "Green Lessons" in their classrooms. The program shared essential knowledge on waste sorting and decoding plastic types, and teachers enthusiastically contributed creative ideas to make these lessons more engaging and practical. The school plastic waste awareness program is one of the four key objectives of the "Fly Light to Con Dao" campaign. The "Green Lessons" play a vital role in the Learn - Understand - Act process, equipping students with the knowledge to effectively sort and recycle plastic waste. This initiative is part of the broader goal to reduce 1.5 - 2 tons of plastic waste on Con Dao in 2024, contributing to long-term environmental sustainability. The program will run from October 8th to 12th, 2024 across four schools on Con Dao Island. In September, for the first time in Vietnam, an environmental and meaningful campaign called "Fly Light to Con Dao" is launched by Vietnam Airlines, the People's Committee of Con Dao District, VASCO, and Lagom Vietnam. This initiative aims to protect the environment, reduce CO2 emissions, and effectively collect and recycle plastic waste on Con Dao Island. 🏝️ Con Dao is a natural gem with diverse ecosystems, home to many rare species. Milk Carton Waste Collection Expanding! ♻The milk carton waste collection project at 30 Vinamilk stores in Vietnam, organized by Tetra Pak Vietnam in collaboration with Vinamilk and Lagom Vietnam, is officially underway at 30 Vinamilk stores in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. After much anticipation from our eco-friendly customers, the second phase of the milk carton collection program at Vinamilk stores is officially back! 🎁Starting August 30, 2024, the milk carton collection program will be available at 30 Vinamilk stores in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
