💚𝗧𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗻 "𝗘𝗰𝗼-𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸"... 💚 On June 26th, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) held a seminar for the promotion of industrial symbiosis for Eco-Industrial Park in Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park (model IP of BRVT - JICA Project). Being “Green” is a big trend and responsibility for all businesses and individuals nowadays, but how do we define “Eco” and “Smart"? This is a part of Technical Cooperation Project from JICA and Phu My 3 SIP aims to get official certification by MPI (Ministry of Planning & Investment) as an eco-industrial park. Decree 35 defines some criteria to get certified and Phu My 3 and our tenants are working hard to achieve more sustainable operations! There are 4 points Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park focuses on. 1. Establishment of Industrial Symbiosis 2. Eco-IP monitoring system (Smart meter/system development) 3. Promotion of Energy Management Systems 4. That is the data announced by the Ministry of Planning and Investment on May 27. FDI capital into the province increased sharply thanks to extremely large-scale projects. Of which, BDO biofiber factory with a capital of 730 million USD of Hyosung chemical group (Korea) contributes nearly half; In particular, Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park, has attracted 3 projects from typical large corporations such as: intelligent terminal project of BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. with a total capital more than 275 million USD; Japanese Tosoh Corporation's $176-million chemical project. Commenting on the situation in the first 5 months of 2024, the Ministry of Planning and Investment assesses that FDI investment flows continue to focus on provinces and cities with advantages of good infrastructure, stable human resources, and efforts reform of administrative procedures and dynamism in investment promotion... Recently, in the PCI provincial competitiveness index ranking, Ba Ria-Vung Tau ranked 6th in the country and led the Southeast region. BOE is one of the world's largest manufacturers of LCD, OLEDs and flexible displays. The total investment capital of this project is 277.5 million USD. They plan to produce high-resolution screens for computers, smart-phones, electronic components and plastic structures with a capacity of over 134.7 million products, an estimated revenue of 1 billion USD/year and create jobs for more than 4,000 workers. This was invested by Korean SeAH M&S CORP, covers an area of about 6 hectares with a total investment capital of 820 billion VND (equivalent to about 35.3 million USD). SeAH M&S is going to manufacture molybdenum-processed products and Ferro Vanadium-processed products used as core raw materials in domestic and overseas steel industries including stainless steel, alloy steel, and special steel.
