The Senior Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance, scalable, and cost-optimized solutions that align with SieuViet’s business and technology objectives. This role requires deep expertise in system architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS & GCP), DevOps practices, and cost optimization strategies. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record in architecting and modernizing large-scale platforms while optimizing cloud resources and ensuring operational efficiency.
What you’ll be responsible for
System Stability and Optimization:
Diagnose and resolve critical system issues, ensuring platform stability and high availability.
Lead the refactoring and optimization of the existing PHP7-based platform while overseeing the transition to a modern, modular architecture.
Enhance observability, monitoring, and logging to improve system performance and reliability.
Architectural Design and Technology Modernization
Define and implement microservices and event-driven architectures to support SieuViet’s long-term growth.
Design and lead the migration from PHP7 to Node.js, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Establish a scalable database strategy using relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) technologies.
Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps best practices, and cloud infrastructure.
Cloud Infrastructure and Cost Optimization
Lead the cloud architecture strategy for AWS and GCP, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
Implement cost optimization strategies for AWS and GCP, including rightsizing resources, optimizing storage solutions, and leveraging reserved instances and serverless solutions.
Identify and implement cost-effective DevOps tools and automation frameworks to streamline infrastructure operations.
Continuously monitor cloud usage and cost to drive efficiency while maintaining performance.
Technology Leadership and Strategic Initiatives
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.
Evaluate and integrate AI-driven solutions to enhance job-matching capabilities and user engagement.
Assess and adopt emerging technologies to maintain SieuViet’s competitive edge.
Mentor and guide software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Security, Compliance, and Best Practices
Implement security best practices to ensure data protection, API security, and system resilience.
Ensure compliance with Vietnamese data protection regulations and industry standards.
Define cloud governance policies to enforce best practices for cloud security and cost management.
Requirements
Experience:
5+ years of experience as a mobile application developer in React Native.
3+ years of leading and mentoring mobile development teams in React Native.
In-depth knowledge of React Native architecture, components, lifecycle methods, state
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
A passion for mobile development and a desire to stay ahead of the curve.
Required Qualifications
12+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership.
Proven expertise in backend architectures, particularly transitioning from monolithic to microservices-based systems.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, PHP7, and cloud platforms (AWS & GCP).
Expertise in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with cost management and optimization strategies for AWS and GCP.
Deep knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and scaling strategies for relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven system design.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and cloud-native deployments.
Demonstrated ability to architect, implement, and scale high-performance distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with technical project management and solution delivery
Experience in AI/ML integration for recruitment platforms.
Familiarity with GraphQL and API Gateway implementations.
Understanding of the Vietnamese job market and recruitment industry trends.
Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the technical community.
