Some people reported loud noises at start up but mine is totally quiet. Virtually zero noise at startup. Guess I don’t have air in mines? Some people reported problems with the screws but mine didn’t have that problem either. They give you only 8 long screws so I had to get myself 8 more to do the 4 fan sandwich. Go to Home Depot and get #6-32 1-1/4 inches if you want to do the same. They fit perfectly. I also got some #6 washers just in case they went too deep and hit the radiator. I don’t know if it would though without the washers.
In any case, if you’re serious about OC or always max out your CPU with games, video renders or whatever, you might want to invest in a branded cooler. But this is perfectly fine for everyday computing and gaming. Gaming mostly uses the GPU anyway and rarely maxes out the CPU. Let’s just hope it doesn’t start leaking in a few years.
i wanted a cheap water cooler and I replaced it with this. It seems to run great and was relatively easy to install (I have a small case which is not the fault of the product.) It’s quiet and the temps have been low. My only complaint is the LED on the pump. i wish there was some way I could disable it as my case is clear on one side.

This cooler is quality enough to cool most chips on its own, but with good ventilation I honestly have no clue why or how you’d need anything more.
This cooler is perfectly priced. Get it for whatever you have. If you’ve got a monster cpu, just buy a couple arctic fans for the radiator and then use the stock fans in other parts of your rig.
Main reason you’d actually need another cooler is for aesthetics. I happen to love the straight white LED, it’s a phenomenal centerpiece for my motherboard.
“That’s why he’s the GOAT, THE GOAT!!”

Mine did come with a manual, and was not hard to install for me. I am a mechanic and PC nerd, so take it as you will. Time will tell for longevity, fingers crossed!
