There are probably three main takeaways I got from the book. I won’t spoil them here but they are worth the purchase. Hint: The charts are handy.
This book is a quick read and good for strength athletes who are considering or have committed to becoming vegan. There are many pros to this book but a big one is the diversity of vegan diets presented in the text. Eating vegan is not presented as one-size-fits-all and the author illustrates this with many examples. I personally feel empowered to eat vegan however I see fit.
Finally, the author is an excellent writer. By that I mean his sentences are easy to understand, they flow into each other, and his sections make broad points. Easily 5 stars.
