    The jumbo knob is very user friendly for toddler small hands who are still trying to master their hand eye co-ordination. I bought this for my son when he was 14 months and so his first way of playing with it was to take out all the pieces from it's slot, so the jumbo knot is quite handy. He began to show interest in putting the puzzle pieces together only when he turns 17 months and have mastered it by 19 months, it is a very challenging puzzles because of the shapes but very enjoyable and appealing for toddlers because of it's big size and good colours.
    I did not give 5 star because after 5 months of usage - banging, throwing, drooling, spillage and dropping food now and then, (every mom and dad with a toddler will relate to this) it needs to be cleaned and wiped regularly and the corner of some of the puzzle pieces started peeling, so it is not as tough and durable as it looks...I did not expect this from a Melissa and Doug toy products
