Dyson's slimmest, most maneuverable vacuum for in-between cleaning on hard floors. The Dyson Omni-glide extends the time between deep cleans with quick pickups. Ultra-compact and under 5 lbs, it's engineered to require less effort in use and is United States Ergonomics certified. An articulating neck and 360-degree castors make it easy to maneuver around obstacles and into tight spaces, so there's less need to move furniture as you clean. Whole-machine advanced filtration traps particles and expels cleaner air. While it might not have the suction power of its larger siblings, this mini-Dyson is amazing for light duty regular use!

We’re currently using it in our travel trailer that gets daily use, and it’s amazing. If you’re careful enough you can even get it to vacuum carpets (works best on low pile “office” type carpet). But this really rocks on hard flooring!

Thanks to its small size, ease use, and light weight, it’s the perfect Dyson for smaller areas with hardwood floors. Absolutely perfect for the modern travel trailer!

Well I finally broke down and spent the money on a Dyson. It works ok but as usual with the non powered head/brushes on up right attachment hose type cleaners that depend on vacuum suction air stream to power the rotation, the rotating brushes quickly loose their rotating ability and require cleaning to get them rotating again.

Please don’t buy these. The battery died after 3 uses. Wouldn’t recharge. Customer service is terrible - just indian call centers telling you to travel 2 hours away to a repair center. Then they tell you it’s broke because you need to “wash the filter” after every use, then “wait 24 hours for it to dry” before testing it again (issue is nothing to do with the filter - they just want you to hang up).

Never buying anything Dyson ever again. Straight in the trash.

I just recently bought the Dyson Omni-glide and already love it. It is the handiest thing to pull out and give the floors a quick once over. The suction is amazingly good, and I can do my whole 1400 sq. ft. house on a single charge. It’s so versatile in maneuvering around things, under things, and in small places. My only complaint, which I have also seen in some other reviews, is that sometimes junk gets stuck in the collection bin. I use an old crochet hook to solve this problem. I’m so glad I made this purchase.

First off, this is designed for a purpose-hard floor, quick clean up. If that's not your only purpose, it's not for you.

The good: lightweight with great suction for the size. The brush head swivels nicely. Emptying the bin is easy and hands free for the most part (see the bad below). The brush head comes apart quickly for easy cleaning. The brush head picks up dust and cleans it all at the same time.

The bad: If you have long hair, this is probably not for you. When you empty the bin, you have to reach in to pull the junk that's stuck to the hair wrapped around the filter. Even though you can take the brush rolls off, hair still gets wrapped around the shafts and it's not easy to remove. I don't know if it was just mine, but the crevice tool does not fit nicely. The brush head and extension tube slide in and lock with a satisfying click, just like you would expect from a Dyson. However, the crevice tool only fits about 75% of the way in and doesn't lock into place.

Overall the pros are exactly what I expect from Dyson. But the cons are not the quality you would expect out of a Dyson. This a premium price vacuum, it should not have these issues.
