Bought this product bc I couldn't scrub this stuff off with anything else! I read the reviews and thought I'd give it a try before I went and replaced all my bathtub surrounding vinyl walls. I did like it said and applied gel and left for 5-6 hours. I kept checking on it and you really can see the mold vanish as the gels is drying. The only downside is the parts where I missed applying the gel, it wouldn't come off with a toothbrush scrubber. It does need to sit and soak up the gel. I thought I could scrub away the parts I missed, but it will need one more application I think! It does have a strong bleach odor. So take precautions like the directions on package suggest. I wore a mask, 2 pairs of gloves (outter pair rubber), and turned my bathroom fan on for ventilation. Once I wiped up gel and rinsed down my wall the bleach smell was gone. Overall, I am SO satisfied! Awesome product for impossible scrub jobs! 💯✨

I only wish I had taken a before photo, because this stain remover performed miracles in our bathroom. We have tried numerous other methods to get rid of horrible mildew stains in the grout around our bathtub, with little to no avail. Goo Gone, the Pink Stuff, and other treatments have slightly faded it but it still looked horrendous. I was embarrased when family came to stay for a weekend visit and they had to see the bathtub. However, this stuff worked like a charm--my husband put it on, let it sit for 8 hours, and even halfway through that was already an obvious and significant improvement. By the end of the 8 hours, the stains were entirely gone, and the grout and caulking looked no worse for wear. While there was a smell, we opened the window and vented the air out by running the fan and it was not particularly noticeable within an hour of washing it all off. 10/10 would recommend for stubborn stains; I wish I'd known about this sooner and will definitely buy again if the issue recurs.

I would give it five stars, except that it takes a bit longer to drive than is indicated. It says 5 to 8 hours, but I would leave it alone for a good 24. It's also possible that I live in an area with higher humidity than average. Apply when the surface is totally dry use a hairdryer if you need to.

I wish I had taken before pictures! This stuff worked great on some mold spots on the caulk in my shower. I had tried other products, but nothing else worked. I thought I was going to have to put new caulk in my shower, but found out about this stuff and thought I'd try this as a last ditch effort. I'm so glad I did! You have to make sure the area is completely dry before you apply the gel. Make sure to wear rubber or nitrile gloves when applying and removing it. Squeeze the gel on the moldy areas and let it sit overnight (at least 6 hours). Make sure you have plenty of ventilation because it has a strong smell. In the morning I wiped off the gel with paper towels and then rinsed down the shower well. All the mold was gone!

We were honestly NOT expecting it to work, but we thought we would try one last thing. We bought our house two years ago and the tile in the master bathroom was not done properly. It's a 20 year old house and the grout has been cracking for a while. We have stripped the caulk and recaulked it several times to remove the mold. At this point we are certain that the builder didn't use backer board, or that there is just so much mold behind the tile nothing short of a full remodel is going to get rid of the mold. And that is fine. They also used the wrong type of grout for showers, it's too porous and the tile is hideous. It was probably very much in style at the time, but it's very outdated now.

Some of the silicone caulk in my shower was pretty badly mildew-stained, and I thought it would need to be scraped out and re-caulked. Then I found this goop, and it's amazing. My grout looks like new, now. It says to leave it on for several hours, but you can begin to see the results pretty quickly.

A couple of things -- you are instructed to put this on fairly heavy, so consider if one tube is enough (it just barely lasted for me). Second, the only problem at all I had with this was the tube it comes in... it's a heavy, rubbery plastic tube and once you've squirted out a third of the contents, it starts getting harder and harder to keep enough air out of the tube to deploy the rest. You need to use two hands to fight with it a bit and try to keep the end rolled up. Also, the cap is a 2-piece cap--a base that screws on to the tube, and a final cap that screws onto the base to close it. Well, the top cap screws onto the base cap much tighter than the base does to the tube, so when I unscrewed the top cap, I didn't realize that I had loosened the bottom cap to the point where, when I started squeezing the tube, big globs were leaking around the base cap. Just something to be aware of. The product really does do the job.
