I love the fact that it was a smartwatch that made health and wellness simple.
Over the past few weeks, I've been using this almost every day for 24 hours.Sleep.It ticked a lot of boxes for me when I would sleep. I have multiple devices that track my sleep because I like having as many data points as possible. If something seems a little bit off with one system, I can compare it to the other one and see if they are moving in the same direction or if they're moving in the opposite direction. This method gives me more insight into what's going on with my body. All of my devices seemed to spit correlating data. So my watch was no different than the sleeping pad.It was pretty accurate when tracking my body's ability to go through sleep cycles properly when it came to tracking my sleep. The Tic Watch GTH PRO watch seemed to be the one that was most accessible. Waking up in the morning and looking down at my wrist and the ability to see all the important data at my wrist was very convenient. There is a phone companion, and it serves as an expansion tool for the data found on your wrist. If I wanted to read more into the metrics, I could just go into the app.Arty the Intelligent AI.The other cool feature was ARTY, the artificial intelligence component. Arty can spit out metrics for me as it pertains to my artery health, heart rate, resting heart rate, max heart rates, and my body's ability to deal with the next workout that I execute. On days that I knew that I was struggling - maybe because I didn't get good sleep or had a long, eventful day prior, the numbers would always correlate appropriately when I would wake up to test with Arty. If I felt like the day wrecked my body, the numbers would not be in my favor. If I felt like I'm ready to go and tackle my day, the numbers on my watch would correlate parallel to how I felt. That was cool to confirm that the way that I felt was how my body was responding to my environment and my day-to-day activities.Tracking ActivityI do a lot of walking. My phone sometimes can accurately pick up the amount of mileage that I get, but often it fails to pick up the number of steps accurately. So, the pedometer and the accelerometer in the actual phone can sometimes be off, but I like having as close as possible to accurate data. And as you swing your arms as you're walking, the Tic Watch GT Pro is able to get not only all of my steps but almost accurately count and track the mileage and distance.Temperature CheckingThe mask mandates have been lifted, but most places are still checking temperature as a symptom. To be able to quickly check on my wrists, whether I have a temperature or not so that I can make sure that I'm protecting myself as well as the people around me, was a convenient tool. My family has smart watches but none have this capability and they have asked to use it when they may think that they have a fever. So that feature became handy for the family. If your temperature is elevated, you might be sick which stresses your system. If your system is stressed, you're going to get off the wall readings that you can't explain. You have a lot of smartwatches out there that try to do too much, but it confuses most. So I like what Mobvoi has done with this Tic GTH Watch Pro. I love the fact that it was a smartwatch that made health and wellness simple. And that's what it should be. We should not have to complicate getting healthy, right? When you can have a tool at your wrist that's noninvasive, that gives you accurate information on the things that matter the most, it solves a lot of inconvenient problems and you can always stay ahead of severe symptoms of body overload. The Tic GTH Watch Pro watch is the perfect watch for anybody that may be starting on a new health journey. It is a watch for people who want to feel healthy and stylish at the same time. I give this a two thumbs up, and I highly recommend it!

I was looking for a simple watch and was intrigued by this product with the heart monitoring. So, I thought I'd give it a try.

This watch has self-care apps and corresponding hardware such as blood oxygen sensor, and pulse... It also includes a skin temperature sensor and another sensor on the side that somehow measures heart health (The feature is called Arty).

What does this watch do well?

This is a simple health and exercise tracker which provides some smartwatch features without loading it down with connectivity hardware that eats battery....like wifi and GPS and cellular connectivity.

As long as you have bluetooth connection with your phone, you get simple..and I repeat simple notifications from some apps... text, email, facebook.

1) The pedometer is pretty much right on.

2) The measurement of pulse ox, sleep, and exercise measuring throughout the day works well. The breathing app relaxes me.

3) The battery life appears to be as advertised. I've been using it for 9 days and there is 17% of the battery left.

4) The price of $100 puts it right in line with similar watches from other companies. I think the addition of the Tic suite of health apps makes this a better value than the others.

5) Even though the Arty feature is poorly documented, it gives you an idea of where you are with your heart health.. cheaper than going to get an EKG. (this is NOT a valid substitution for getting medical care if you feel you need it. I am NOT a medical professional. Annual physicals are encouraged!).

6) I love the weather at a glance feature. Updating is dependent on an active bluetooth connection with the phone.

Here are the negatives...

1) The user interface is a bit clunky. I'm used to the smooth Wear OS experience. Finger swipes on the screen aren't as smooth as they could be in my opinion. This is especially true in the app drawer.

2) The notifications from your phone could be improved. Text notifications come in multiple copies and broken up into pieces. So, a three sentence text might show on the watch as 5 or 6 different notifications with no logical order. Also, only notifications from select apps appear on the watch

3) The distance for walks or runs is not very accurate. I tracked a 0.6 mile run wearing both the GTH watch and my Ticwatch GPS Pro. The GTH watch said I went a mile. I realize it is approximating my distance based on the number of steps... BUT there does not seem to be a way to calibrate the distance per step. Apparently it uses the GPS on your phone if it is connected via bluetooth. Otherwise it uses the steps and what it thinks your stride is based on height and weight.

4) The Arty feature (only retail watch in the world with this technology), practically speaking, is spotty at best. After some research, it would seem that the developer of the technology (ATCOR) has worked with Mobvoi to get the technology to market for the average consumer. The algorithms used in the software are said to be the same as what the medical community uses to characterize heart health. ATCOR claims to have published 1600 peer-reviewed publications on its technology.

I really don't know what the outputs mean about my heart health. It is not consistent. Most of the time it's right on with my age... 40-50. I just measured it now and it says my ArtyAge is 16-20. But sometimes it says my heart age is 20-30. One time it said 70-80... Gee thanks. This may be based on variability in how hard I push against the sensor on the side of the watch. I don't know. This is the feature that differentiates the watch from the competition.. It should come with better directions.

5) The three letters "GPS" appear in the title for this watch on Amazon. This watch does NOT have GPS. Per Mobvoi customer service, it uses your phones GPS when it is connected via bluetooth.

Everything hold true. Went to 2 star cause watch just won't charge anymore. I declared it's dead. ......

I'm really surprise the cost of this one is at $99.99. First I was concern of the quality with such a low price comparing to other smart watch out there. However, after some testing and wearing it for days. I was indeed surprise.

Overall, the watch felt comfortable and lightweight. It don't bother me wearing it all day and barely add much weight. I like the strap function with water, after handwashing and such. You dont get the wetness left behind and smell. Functionality of the watch are great and on point.

I would recommend update on the mobile interface and watch sync. I was having a hard time trying to change the watch face, took me a couple try to actually download and switch over. So far, only notification it work is with message and call. Would love to see more notification with other chat interface.

In conclusion, you don't need to break a bank here. This is my active gym watch. I owned several watch for their own purpose. with this price point and what it got to offer; buy rating .
