Wow this is just what I needed! We installed a WeMo switch in our bedroom only to find out when the light in the room is off there is a bright blazing light at the switch that keeps us up at night. I tried all sorts of things to block it that didn't work. This did the trick! I can't wait to use it on all the other little lights from electronic devices ☺️.

 These dimmer stickers are SO helpful. I got the full black out variety and they fully black out the annoying/intrusive light. The video is of my alarm clock which has a blinking center colon to count off the seconds, and it drives me UP THE FREAKIN WALLLLL. I’ve always had the clock face toward the room rather than me which means I either have to get uncomfortable again to look at the time, or check my phone which inevitably leads to me staring at the phone for too long. Since the numbers and symbols are under the surface glass of the clock a bit it was a good example since you can still barely see the covered light from a steep angle and know how blacked out the lights are. I’ve also used these on several pieces of tech at work - in fact before I knew these existed I took a hole punch to some electrical tape and made a “dimmer sticker” for my old office phone (if only I knew there was a business in that!!). These are less tacky than tape so it seems like they won’t leave marks if you remove them which is great, and come in a variety of convenient sizes, such as the exact size of my monitor buttons at work.

I also think it’s great that this product was born in the US and I hope the creators will be able to bring the manufacturing home soon, or at least are making sure their Chinese factory is one of the ones that doesn’t use abusive labor!

There is no flex to these stickers and my monitor buttons are slightly indented, so I’m not sure if they’ll stay or fall off, but these last two points are really my only complaint. I don’t love that everything besides the stickers is 100% plastic, but maybe it’s to protect the adhesive for transit and storage? Maybe hemp plastics could be used the the future :)

I bought 2 products; complete black out, and a partial black out film. It seems silly to purchase something when you can put black electrical tape or blobs of black liquid electrical tape on every little pilot light in the house, which I’ve done ‘til now. But this is so convenient! And the partial black out can dim the bright lights of my clock radio, which is too bright at its dimmest, and my router, where you want to see something but don’t want it reflecting off the walls as you try to sleep! I’ve also used it to block light on medicine bottles that shouldn’t be exposed to light.

My room had routers, TVs, game consoles, heaters, even air conditioners, and humidifiers that all had little blue ore red lights that never turned off. I got the lighter version of these, which were nice, but not enough. These blackout ones were perfect. They block out all the lights while still granting access to remote senors (with the exception of my newest tv, but whatever). I tried to do 4.5 stars only because you cannot reuse them, so if you put it in the wrong place or not quite covering the entire light in question, repositioning the same piece is out of the question. Luckily, you get like 500 pieces and they are easily cut to fit what you need if you run out of a size.
