the pouch keeps phone dry but with my case it was very difficult to get in and out of the pouch, we went hiking and through rocks along the ocean and beach, the pouch got steamy and photos turned out cloudy. You can see the difference of the cloudy photo vs taking phone out of the case and clear photo without the case. If it was easier to take in and out of the case it wouldn’t be as big of an issue but being around water and trying to get the phone in and out bc it’s too tight was frustrating. Overall it did protect my phone and was easy to carry around my neck so that was good.

Bought a pair of this when it was on sale and we were going to a waterpark. It did its job, keeping the phone dry inside and the seal looks sturdy. It also came with an arm strap which holds tight on the arm. Touchscreen works.
The only downside is that it's too big for a 6.1" iPhone, and the other one of mine is a 12 mini. I wished it has a smaller option.

I wanted a waterproof phone case for ice fishing. I recently lost my phone down the ice hole, never to be seen again.:( (You would be surprised how often this happens to people!) I bent over to pick something up, had my phone in my pocket and bloop! Went down that hole like a rock. First day of the fishing trip to, sucked big time.
After ordering and returning another phone case (that by the description provided should have fit my phone but it was so big my phone was flopping around in it) I thought I'd try this one. It's a perfect fit for my phone without my case (with the case I'd have to almost force it in and didn't want to chance tearing it) Without my case it has more than enough wiggle room but not too loose. I did the water test in the sink and it passed. With having to set something on top of it in sink to stop it from floating, I think the case would float to a certain extent even with a phone in it. (even though it's not described as "floating")
I used it during an ice fishing derby last weekend and loved it. Had it safely around my neck all day. We used the Fish Donkey online derby app for the whole day and touch screen worked perfectly through the case. Very pleased with the case. It'll be great for on the boat or kayak in the summer as well!

I don't have my new phone yet, so I can't try with an actual phone, but I weighted the case underwater and also squished it around and crumpled it underwater for maybe about 10 minutes and the paper was totally dry! The clips feel secure and took some effort to open, and the strap and plastic bag feel like good material too.

Clearer plastic than I expected, and overall it looks less cheap than I would've expected, pleasantly surprised :)
