Great device, but bad for Qi chargers and phone holders

less then an hour after I put this on my phone it popped off while I was holding it and I dropped my phone. It stuck back on easily but I was hesitant to use it so I placed my phone on my desk (pop socket side up) and put a weighted book on top of my phone in the hopes of getting a better stick. This worked! it took about 3 months of use (a lot of daily use) with no more issues. Ive since then removed it from my phone because i use a Qi charger and it was not allowing the charge to connect to the phone easily. it was also too bulky for my cars holder and I could no longer use that either. its a great device but not worth losing both the wireless charging and the bluetooth hands free mode in my car. It is however perfect for my teenage daughter who fumbles her phone more often then the worst football teams with a football. Giving it 5 stars based on quality and usefulness, however due to it creating a bulky point right in the center back of my phone, it does not work for me.

This thing is great! I am one of those idiots who tends to drop my phone on my face when I am laying in bed. I have the iPhone X and it isnt that hard to reach the whole screen, but with this, it makes it super easy. I love using it whenever I am holding my phone. There are a couple minor issues, however.

I cannot wirelessly charge my phone very easily with it.

it makes my phone rock when It is set down on the back. So I tend to set it down on the face (which is OK since I have a case on it)
It sometimes gets caught on the lip of my pocket when I am putting it in my pocket. If you have tighter pockets, this may occur more often than you think.

Overall, great! super useful.

I love my basic black popsocket will definitely have to buy another one as a back up. My phone got to hot and it unglued itself from my tech 21 case I caught it in time before it fully came off but it did not stick back properly. Also, i'm a mom on the go so being able to slide it between two fingers and still see my phone and handle a stroller on bumpy nyc streets is awesome. Good to know that if you don't close the popsocket all the way down you can detach the "Pop" from its "Socket" if that makes sense it took me a bit but I was able to reattach it. I mean it's cheap i'm not expecting it to last forever. This is my first popsocket so at least now I know.

I usually use those rings for my phone vs popsockets and i usually pay like 5 or 6$ for 2. They tend to last 4-6 weeks...sometimes longer, depending on the brand.

I got my popsocket today and was excited. I compared pix and it SEEMED like i got the real deal. I put it on my phone (i have an otterbox case, the rubbery ones) and it stuck fine at first. Within an hour it started falling off. I can stick it back on fine, the adhesive doesnt completely wear off when it comes off but it isnt strong by any means. Every time i "pop" it, i kind of have to hold it on with my fingers. The edges are coming up as i type this. I will probably just superglue it on like someone else did. I like the actual product, the adhesive SUCKS and i was hoping spending a few extra $ would get me longer lasting stickiness. I will def stick with my off brand "rings" from now on.

I have had a popsocket on my phone for over a year now and had to replace the first one I had. Foolishly, I placed my phone in a belt clip and then ran into a generator I was moving that ripped the cover (or the hard plastic round part) off the phone. The remainder of the popsocket was still on my phone, so I was able to still use it to hold my phone, but could no longer use it as a stand.

Adhesive - I can say from experience that the adhesive is strong. I've never worried about the actual popsocket coming off, yet somehow I can remove it from one device and move it to another with ease and it stays on as if it was new.

Use - I have an iPhone XS Max, as you probably know that size of a phone is big for anyone. With the popsocket I can easily reach all parts of my phone without readjusting my grip or worrying that I will drop my phone.
The popsocket will also hold up my iphone xs max (with casemate cover), but only if it is centered on the back of the phone. If if you offset your popsocket, then I'm afraid your phone will fall over.
For me my phone slides in and out of my pocket easily, but I know some people who complain that it gets in the way.

I love this product. I attached a “socket” to my car-mount stand, making it very easy to place and remove the iPhone from the stand, unlike the built-in mechanism to grip the phone. When I want to use the phone one-handed for calling or texting I no longer drop the phone repeatedly. When I don’t want to use it, it easily collapses to a small “bump.”
My only complaint is that it is too thick to allow use of my nfc charging pad but I don’t have a problem using a traditional cable to charge the device. However the built-in nfc charging pocket in my car works fine. Frankly, I don’t really have a complaint because nfc charging is not something for which I have much need.

I think this is a great device. I put one on my mother’s phone and that iPhone has become the longest surviving phone she has used (they usually show signs of drop-caused damage within 6 months.)
