First of all: ich finde den Speicher top, sowohl vom Aussehen als auch von der Leistung wenn er dann einmal richtig konfiguriert ist. Es fing zunächst recht tricky an, trotz neuestem BIOS wurde der Speicher laut DOCP im Asus X570 Board konfiguriert, jedoch haben die Timings nicht funktioniert, nach 3x Bootfail dann automatisch Runtertaktung auf 2000 MHz, auch die Auto-Einstellungen lagen in diesem Bereich, was für diesen Speicher inakzeptabel ist. Ein Wechsel der Steckplätze von A1/B1 auf A2/B2 hat dann geholfen, warum auch immer. Nun konnte ich hier mittels DOCP die korrekten Timings einstellen (4133 Mhz und 4000 Mhz sind in den Profilen hinterlegt). Beide funktionieren gut und stabil, allerdings nur bei einem FLCK Takt von 1800 MHz, idealerweise sollte dieser bei Zen 3 jedoch die Hälfte des Memory-Takts sein, nach Hochtaktung funktionierte Memory 4000 Mhz bei FLCK 2000 MHz am besten und stabilsten mit diesem RAM. Der Speicher ist blitzschnell und ich war eigentlich sehr zufrieden.

Warum also retourniert? Während für Gaming in der Regel Spiele von RAM mehr als 16 GB nicht profitieren, wollte ich dennoch gerne für Photoshop und Co. 32 GB im System haben. Ich hatte mir also noch ein zweites Kit bestellt und alle 4 Bänke bestückt, lief dann allerdings wieder in mein ursprüngliches Problem der Safetyboots und automatischen Runtertaktung rein, leider kann mein System bei Vollbestückung die 4000 MHz nicht erreichen und ich hatte - mit Verlaub - auch keine Lust mehr auf weitere Experimente. Also retourniert und 32GB Kit von einem anderen Hersteller besorgt. Nur 3600er RAM, allerdings effektiv im Benchmark nicht mal 1,5% weniger Leistung zum günstigeren Preis. Und die LED Beleuchtung beim anderen Produkt fand ich insgesamt auch stimmiger, beim Viper unterschied sich die reelle Farbdarstellung doch erheblich vom Konfigurationstool.

Anyway, wer jedoch auf der Suche nach schnellem Speicher für Ryzen ist und mit 16 GB auf zwei Bänken auskommt, der ist hier goldrichtig. Tolle Teile. Betrieb der Riegel bei mir übrigens auf Asus 570F und Ryzen 5800X.
